Timber von Knophen is an easy going 14 month old sable German Shepherd who is as handsome as he is gentle.  He’s a well grounded shepherd who walks right by your side on a leash and calmly takes in his surroundings, unaffected by loud noises, bicycles and buses going by.  Most sables are known for being serious working dogs but Timber works only at being sweet and playful.  He’ll take a treat so gently from your hand and when we introduced him to a cat, he actually gave her a kiss.  We think he’s a great choice for a family dog even if you’re a novice Shepherd owner.  Come meet him and you’ll be saying “timber!” as your heart falls for this handsome boy!
